I have been asked by Bishop Martyn Minns of the Anglican Diocese of Pittsburgh to take down the Dear Gay Anglicans Letter.

I will submit.

Every Sunday I confess the Nicene Creed and my belief in an apostolic church: that Jesus passed on his teachings and authority to the Apostles and to orthodox Bishops today through apostolic succession. I consistently submit, not because my Bishop will always judge perfectly, but because the Holy Spirit will ensure that over a lifetime my Bishop’s wisdom will be better than my own.

I will continue to work toward a Church where gay/same-sex attracted people can thrive in celibacy or a mixed-orientation marriage.

Please pray for me, and pray for the ACNA.
